Top honors for JVM Cattle Company at National Western Stock Show
Jordan and Tayler Vander Molen, owners of JVM Cattle Company, took 15 head of South Devon cattle to the 2018 National Western Stock Show (NWSS) in Denver, CO, and came home with a lot more hardware and banners to hang – work the couple will gladly take on in their quest to raise high quality South Devon cattle and promote the breed.

Hawk teams split with Grand View Christian
The gym in Sully was packed with excited fans as the Hawk basketball teams hosted Grand View Christian in non-conference matchups on Friday, Jan. 12. By the end of the night, the L-S girls had picked up their 10th win of the season while the Hawk boys came up short at the hand of the 2017 state champs for their second loss this season.
Wayne Duals prove difficult for six-member L-S team
The Lynnville-Sully wrestlers made the long trip to Corydon on Saturday morning, Jan. 13, for a dual-style tournament against some challenging competition. The short-handed Hawks finished the day at 0-5 at the Wayne High School Duals.
Chuck, Mike, and George Johnson recall service memories
During the era of the Vietnam War, three brothers from Lynnville simultaneously served in the United States Marine Corps, their individual enlistments overlapping from 1972 to 1974.
