Kimberly Jo (Northcutt) Lewis was born Jan. 6, 1957, in Pella. She was an only child born to Larry Duane and Norma Jean (Swank) Northcutt. Kim graduated from Lynnville-Sully High School with the Class of 1976. After high school, Kim worked at a foam manufacturing plant in Gilman

Feb. 5, 1982, she was united in marriage with Gregory Scott Lewis. They were blessed with two children: Keisha Jo and Zackary Scott. She became a stay-at-home mother and later in life, after Kim’s grandfather Lowell Northcutt passed away, she became a caretaker for her grandmother Maxice Northcutt.

Kim was a collector of all things, particularly finding antiques, postcards, stamps, and greeting cards. Kim was an avid fan of professional football and basketball. She spent countless hours watching both sports. Kim was also a strong supporter of Iowa State University and loved to watch Cyclone sports. Kim’s favorite thing to do, however, was to spend time with her four grandkids.

In 2019, Kim moved to Independence Village in Pella, where she resided until the time of her death.

Kim is survived by her two children and their families: Keisha (Joe) Larson and their daughters Lily, age 15, Mia, age 9, and Ivy, age 6, of West Des Moines and Zack (Tiffany) Lewis and their daughter Raelin, age two, of Sully; two aunts Carolyn (Northcutt) Vonk of Sully and Charlotte (Northcutt) Norris of Norfolk, AR; along with many cousins.
