Jamboree jump-starts the 2014 girls basketball season

After just a week of team practice, the L-S girls basketball team took to the court as they hosted a jamboree on Monday, Nov. 17. A total of eight teams were invited to the unofficial competition, with the results following:
  • HLV beat Pleasantville 32-18,
  • Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont beat Tri-County 25-21,
  • PCM beat Montezuma 43-8, and
  • L-S beat Colfax-Mingo 35-6.
