Bailey Vos, a junior at Pella Christian, is now the girls cross-country team’s fastest 5k runner in program history.
Pella Christian junior Bailey Vos, daughter of Curt and Candice Vos, continues her reign as a running phenom for the Eagles. Last week at the Williamsburg Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 1, Vos clocked a 19:48 for a top-ten finish. The finish also landed her the title of Pella Christian’s fastest 5k runner in PC girls cross-country program history. The previous school record of 19:56 was set by Joslyn Terpstra in 2021.
The Pella Christian girls cross-country team is ranked 13th in Class 2A. They had a six-day break following the Williamsburg meet and wrapped up the regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Big Red Invitational at Centerville Lakeview Complex.
