Steven C. Terpstra, 55, of Cedar Rapids passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with Certified Celebrant Jim Parton. Burial was held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Steven Clark Terpstra was born Ap. 24, 1959, to Arnold and Ruth (Harris) Terpstra in Grinnell. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree. Steven was united in marriage to Julia Koellner on May 17, 1986, in Davenport. He was a co-owner of Mark Seed Co. Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing Euchere, and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Indianapolis Colts.
Survivors include his wife, Julie; children, Laura Terpstra of Iowa City and Morgan Terpstra of Indianola; his brothers, Doug (Serena) Terpstra of Eau Claire, WI; Mark Terpstra of Perry; and Neal (Lisa) Terpstra of Naperville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
