Ruth Ann (Vos) Swihart died at her home in Kalamazoo, MI, on Aug. 19, 2014, after a lingering illness. Ruth was born Dec. 9, 1958, and at the age of three months was welcomed into the home of Paul and Marjorie (Vanden Berg) Vos. She enjoyed her family and growing up on the farm in the Pella/Monroe area, her school years, and the fun family vacations. She loved her piano and played until her recent illness.
She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Byron in 1949, and her mother Marjorie in 2007. She is survived by her father Paul (Marilyn) Vos of Pella; brothers Arvin (Laura) Vos of Pella and Mark Vos of Brooklyn; nieces and nephews; and many other relatives.
At Ruth's request, her body was cremated and no memorial services are planned.
