Ornery. That’s what Rusty was! A great man. That’s what Rusty was! He was always a very giving and loving man. He would help anyone out. Rusty made this world a brighter place. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars, and was just a big kid himself. You never dared him to do something – he always accepted the challenge. He was a member of First Christian Church in Newton and enjoyed his church family. There is a big hole that will never be filled with the passing of Rusty. He will forever be in our hearts.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Amy Wilcox; children Joshua (Becca), Steven, Brenton, and Kendyl; mother Connie Wilcox; siblings Erica (Dale) Maston, Gerald (Vanessa) Wilcox, Colleen (Nick) Lepley; grandmother Lois Hildenbrand; parents-in-law Maryann and Scott Eddins; grandmother-in-law Marilyn Fisher; grandparents-in-law Dick and Louise Eddins; sisters-in-law Madison and Chelsea Eddins; and several nieces and nephews.
