Ronda James-Roush, 53

Ronda Jean James-Roush, 53, of Newton went home to be with her Savior on Saturday morning, Aug. 29, 2020, in Newton.

Ronda, the daughter of Earl Eugene and Linda Ann (Halter) James, was born Apr. 7, 1967, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. She was a graduate of the Lynnville-Sully High School Class of 1985. She later attended Marshalltown Community College.

Ronda had devoted her life to her children, granddaughter, and family. She had attended Heart of Worship Church in Lynnville and enjoyed farm antiques, coffee times, morning phone calls, good music, and her animals.

Ronda was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Wilbur and Jean Halter. Ronda is survived by her daughters: Kenzie (Joe) Stier, Shonna Roush, and Richelle Roush; a son Kegan Wertz; her grand-daughter Harley Stier; her parents Earl and Linda James; her brothers Mark (Heather) James, Donnie James, and Danny James; and her many good friends.

A time of fellowship, remembrance, and celebration of life will be 10:30 a.m. until noon on Monday, Sept. 7, at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, who is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Ronda's family or to a charity of your choosing.
