Peter R. Jochems, 85, of Pella passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House. Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Peoria Christian Reformed Church with interment in the Peoria Cemetery. Pete, a retired farmer, is survived by his wife, Betty J. Jochems; their son, Gary (Carol) Jochems of Sully; their daughter, Beverly (Larry) Rossow of Newton; their daughter-in-law, Barbara Jochems of Pella; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brother, Harry Jochems; and his sister, Betty Westbrook of Newton.
