Mary Helen Verratti, 92, of Gasport, NY, passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Apr. 28, 2023. Funeral service was Thursday, May 4, 11 a.m., at The Chapel, Lockport, NY. Interment was in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
She was the eleventh child born to Paul and Lydia Renaud of Sully on Dec. 31, 1930. Mary is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 71 years, John Verratti, whom she married on Jan. 16, 1952.
She was loving mother to John (Tammy) Verratti, Dan (Ruth) Verratti, Eunice (Tim) Arendt, Tim (Ruth) Verratti, Phil Verratti, and Connie( Tim) Hayhoe; and loving grandma to 20 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Of her original family, Mary is survived by her brother Gerrit Renaud of Pella, three sisters-in-law Miriam Renaud of Iowa Falls, Patty Renaud of Hemmet, CA, Marg Renaud of Des Moines, and Elaine Zwanzig of Hopedale, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Baby James, 11 siblings, a grandson, and a granddaughter-in-law.
