Carol Lukehart, 54, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 28, at Sully First Reformed Church. Private family interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Lynnville. Memorials have been designated for Sully First Reformed Church and Hospice of Pella Day of Care.
Carol Ann Lukehart was born Dec. 29, 1970, to Alvin and Shirley (Vander Wilt) Rozendaal in Oskaloosa.
May 22, 1992, she was united in marriage to Monty W. Lukehart in Sully. To this union they were blessed with two children: Shaylin and Kemper.
Carol worked in finance and sales for Pella Corporation for 31 years before retiring in November of 2023.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Monty, their daughter Shaylin (Mitchell) Bryan and son Liam of Lynnville, and their son Kemper (Elly) Lukehart of Lynnville, parents Alvin and Shirley Rozendaal of Sully, brothers Duane (Dia) Rozendaal of Sully, and Kendall (Marlene) Rozendaal of Lynnville, parents-in-law Gary and Patty Lukehart of Marshalltown, and sister-in-law Wendy Mayer of Des Moines.
Carol was preceded in death by her grandparents Albert and Cora Rozendaal and Floyd and Luella Van Der Wilt, and her brother-in-law Mark Mayer.
