Byron Carl Vander Molen, 64, of Pella passed away Saturday afternoon, Aug. 15, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City from complications related to lifelong digestive issues.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Second Christian Reformed Church in Pella. Interment followed in the Oakwood Cemetery at Pella. Byron requested memorials be designated for Pella Pro-Life.
Byron is survived by his wife Joyce (Swank) Vander Molen; three children: Tammy (Don) Klynsma of Sioux City, Russell (Mary) Vander Molen of DeMotte, IN, and Robyn Vander Molen of Pella; eight grandchildren; and siblings: Marty (Betty) Vander Molen of Sully, and Vi (Larry) Engbers, Judy (Arvin) Kelderman, Rita (Don) Van Maanen, and Christy (Jim) Van Zee, all of Pella.
