Ava Kay Dieleman, 4

Ava Kay Dieleman, daughter of Daren and Kara (Van De Berg) Dieleman of Sioux Center, was taken into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015. A funeral service was held Oct. 30 at the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center. Interment followed in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Sioux Center. In lieu of flowers or gift items, the Dieleman family prefers you honor little Ava’s life with a memorial contribution to Stepping Stones Preschool, 1070 7th Ave. NE, Sioux Center, IA 51250 or Bridge Of Hope Ministries, 43 2nd Street NE, Sioux Center, IA 51250.

Ava Kay was born Sept. 3, 2011, in Omaha, NE. Ava was full of life! She had an incredible heart for kids and loved meeting new friends wherever she went. She loved to sing, dance, read books, gymnastics, attend preschool, and have play dates with her friends. Ava loved being a big sister to “her boys” and would do anything to make sure they were happy and well taken care of. Most of all, Ava loved and accepted Jesus into her heart the week before she met Him face to face!

Ava Kay is survived by her parents, Daren and Kara Dieleman of Sioux Center; brothers: Leyton and Carson; maternal grandparents, Harv and Sandi Van De Berg of Sioux Center; paternal grandparents, Norm and Jan Dieleman of Pella; uncles and aunts: Kyle and La Shawn Van De Berg of Sioux Center, Lee and Kim Miller of Omaha, NE, Brent and Megan Dieleman of Arlington, VA, and Lance Dieleman of West Des Moines; cousins: Kaden, Nevaeh, and Brynlee Van De Berg of Sioux Center, and Emilee Miller of Ankeny; great-grandparents: Elmer Van De Berg, Margaret Feekes, both of Sioux Center, Bernice Dieleman of Pella, and Helen Steenhoek of Reasnor; and many other family and friends.

Ava Kay was welcomed into heaven by great-grandparents: Gertrude Van De Berg, Arnold Feekes, Louis Dieleman, and Jarold Steenhoek; and cousin, Justin Van De Berg.
