Alice Louise Gause, 81, passed away Feb. 13, 2022, at Wesley Acres Health Center in Des Moines. A service was held at Lynnville Cemetery on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Acres or Wesley Life Hospice.
Alice was born in Montezuma on June 7, 1940, to Afton and Ruth Gause. She worked at Meredith Printing in Des Moines her entire career.
Alice is survived by her sister-in-law Jimmie Ann Gause of Swisher; her nieces Kathy Gause of Conroe, TX, and Susan (Craig) Long of Fort Atkinson, WI; her nephew Steven (Kyra) Gause of Papillion, NE; her great-niece Claire of St. Paul, MN; and her great-nephew Spencer of Peoria, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert.
The family would like to thank Wesley Life Hospice, especially nurses Patricia and Heidi, for their great care, as well as the Wesley Acres Retirement Center Staff.
