Barry Van Haaften is remembered as a loving family man whose devotion to his wife and three daughters was second only to his unwavering faith. On Feb. 26, the young husband and father was called home after courageously fighting leukemia for two years.
On Saturday, Apr. 10, the community will come together for the Van Haaften Benefit to support Barry’s wife, Kelsie, and their three daughters. The benefit will be held at Pella Christian Grade School starting at 4:30 p.m. All money raised through the freewill-donation supper and silent and live auctions will help cover the Van Haaften family in financial support.
