Support Lynnville United Fund Campaign’s fundraising efforts at Friday’s Bingo Blitz and Soup Supper

The community is invited to help jumpstart the fundraising campaign for the Lynnville United Fund by attending a Bingo Blitz and Soup Supper on Friday, Mar. 10, in the 1st State Bank Basement in Lynnville.

The family-friendly evening will kick off with soup served from 5-6:30 p.m. Then, Bingo Blitz starts up at 6:30 p.m. Prizes will be up for grabs! All proceeds from the freewill donation meal will go towards the Lynnville United Fund. 1st State Bank is matching up to $1,000 in donations received the night of the Bingo Blitz!

For decades, the Lynnville United Fund has benefited community organizations with the public’s help. In addition to fundraising through activities such as the Bingo Blitz and Soup Supper, organizers of the Lynnville United Fund ask that you consider a donation this year. The committee has set a goal of $10,000. Past organizations who have benefited from the Lynnville United Fund include Lynnville Emergency Services, Friends of the Lynnville Library, Diamond Trail Children’s Center, Lynnville Historical Society, L-S Community Education Foundation, Smoke on the Water, Inspirations Childcare and Preschool, and Lynnville Ballpark.

Contributions may be mailed to P.O. Box 187, Lynnville, or dropped off at 1st State Bank in Lynnville or Sully by Mar. 31. Donations made to the KIB-Hometown Pride Lynnville United Fund are tax deductible through Keep Iowa Beautiful’s 501(c)3 status.
