Sully Night Out event draws record crowd

The fourth annual Sully Night Out Bingo Night was a great event on Saturday evening, Nov. 19, with a large crowd enjoying soup and cinnamon rolls, playing many games of Bingo, and winning 99 prizes. The weather had turned seasonably colder after an unseasonably warm early November, but was still a beautiful night to get out for Sully’s Fall Family Night. The Lynnville-Sully After-Prom Committee held a successful soup and cinnamon roll meal with only 14 rolls and a gallon of potato soup left, which were auctioned off. Groups of Bingo players of all ages cheered each other on to wins, including moans when the “clear your cards” command was given with players only a mark or two away from winning!

BINGO winners:

B – Reagan Fopma, two-year-old daughter of Jamie and Erlene Fopma of Lynnville, was possibly the youngest present and won the biggest prize, a Kindle Fire HD 8.

I – Kinsley Tice of Sully won one of two $50 Cenex gas cards given away.

N – Mel Stielow of Lynnville won the second of two $50 Cenex gas cards.

G – Anna Arkema was the first person to call out “Bingo!” and was thrilled to choose a prize of a fresh-cut Christmas tree from Hackert Tree Farm. The Arkemas are a lucky family as last year, her son Evan won the biggest last prize of the evening, an iPad mini.

O – Paul Carpenter of Lynnville won the last prize, a fall decoration.
