Sully Community Christmas this Saturday

Santa Claus visits, a ceremonial tree lighting, business open houses, and more are planned for Sully Community Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 9. Santa Claus will kick off the festivities with participation in the lighting of the new 12-foot Christmas tree at the stage/shelter in Sully’s central park starting at 8:30 a.m. Boys and girls can relay their wish lists from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and receive a goodie bag in return, courtesy of the Sully Lions Club. Several area businesses will hold open houses in the morning, and attendees can register for the grand prize drawing of $100 in Sully Bucks. The SFRC Faithwalkers youth group will hold their annual soup dinner with a bake sale hosted by the SFRC Impact junior high youth from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Gathering Place at Sully First Reformed Church.
