Lynnville Heart of Worship welcomes Ruthie Oberg as its special guest speaker for the Spring Women’s Retreat, coming up on Saturday, Apr. 16. Oberg has recently resigned her position as the Senior Pastor at First Assembly of God in Council Bluffs after 15 years of service to prepare for a missions appointment to Africa. Serving with her husband, Shawn, they have pastored together for 24 years seeing God work in the lives of hurting and broken people.
Oberg has also served her denomination as a general presbyter and has had several articles published in their national publications. Her historical devotions video blog can be found on YouTube, and she has served as the main speaker for the daily radio program “Devotions from History” on KCRO radio, Omaha. She has led church history tours in England and has a passion for traveling as an educational adventure.
Oberg will be sharing “Finding Your True Voice,” putting away the false self with all its masks and truly becoming what God has designed us to be. Why not make an investment in your spiritual lives and join other ladies in a true spirit of sisterhood and love as we worship together?
Luncheon will be served at the Spring Women’s Retreat, which lasts from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for registration, and a freewill offering will be taken.
