Lynnville-Sully reigns as the only school in Iowa with undefeated basketball teams

The L-S girls basketball team is 21-0 going into the postseason. The Lynnville-Sully gym has been rocking all season long as both the boys and girls high school varsity basketball teams have dominated the regular season, claimed SICL Conference titles, and now look ahead to the postseason with undefeated records.

The 21-0 girls, ranked fifth in Class 1A, are one of five teams in the entire state to be holding an undefeated record. The boys, 20-0 and ranked eighth in Class 1A, are just one of three still boasting a flawless record. Lynnville-Sully is the only school in the entire state of Iowa to have both boys and girls teams still playing without a loss on their records at this point of the season.

Hawk players, coaches, and fans are looking forward to more success now that the postseason has arrived. The boys play at home on Monday, Feb. 16. The girls will start their postseason journey at home on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Tip-off is 7 p.m. for both games.
