Lynnville-Sully Art Show attracts large community crowd

The artwork of every Lynnville-Sully art student was on display at the annual art show on Monday, Mar. 27. Students’ work created over the course of the school year transformed the gym into an impressive art gallery showcasing over a thousand colorful, unique, and inspiring pieces.

“I give this night 10/10!” exclaimed L-S veteran K-12 art teacher Tara Conover, who has led the charge on the art show for two decades now. “This show just keeps getting better and better. We had a phenomenal crowd of supporters tonight.”

Conover is right – an overwhelming outpouring of support came from family and friends of the artists as well as community members who filled the gym and art gallery as they marveled at student masterpieces over the course of the four-hour show. The L-S Jazz Band’s performance also drew an appreciative crowd.

The community response to the evening’s offerings was so great the meal hosted by the Lynnville-Sully Community Education Foundation sold out with over 300 meals served in just 90 minutes.
