L-S, SCS set school registration dates

The first day of the 2016-17 school year for Lynnville-Sully School and Sully Christian School is right around the corner, and it’s time to think about getting into the back-to-school groove.

Lynnville-Sully will hold school registration Aug. 8 and 9 from 1-4 p.m. and 5-7:30 p.m. in the high school library. Newsletters have been sent to incoming students that include registration forms, which need to be filled out and returned at registration. Those forms include the policy permission form, health/emergency information, emergency early out instructions, schedule of fees, and transportation request. Handouts such as the activity calendar may be picked up at registration or from the school office.

School registration at Sully Christian School for grades kindergarten through eighth grade will be held on Monday, Aug. 8, from 6-8 p.m. in the gym. School registration packets can be found on the Sully Christian School website under the Parent Tab. Visit sullychristian.org to learn more. Parents interested in sending their child to SCS’s transitional kindergarten program for young five-year-olds should contact Jim Warden at jwarden@sullychristian.org or Donna Arkema at darkema@sullychristian.org.

Lynnville-Sully will host a Back-To-School Night on Monday, Aug. 22. Students and parents wanting to take school supplies to the classroom and re-acquaint themselves with staff members are invited to attend. Kindergarten through eighth-grade staff members will be present from 6-7 p.m., and high school staff will be present from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The first day of school for Lynnville-Sully is Wednesday, Aug. 24.
