L-S Hawk Homecoming

A Hawk “Blast from the Past” ushered in Lynnville-Sully’s 2022 homecoming, a week-long celebration that kicked off Sept. 26. The community is invited to join the Hawks as they celebrate Lynnville-Sully pride with several big homecoming events yet to take place.

On Thursday, Sept. 29, coronation will be held in the high school gym starting at 7 p.m. The evening’s entertainment will include the senior parent and class skits, introduction of fall sports teams, and the crowning of homecoming royalty. On Friday, Sept. 30, Hawk fans are encouraged to sport school colors and cheer loud and proud, first starting with a 2:30 p.m. parade featuring all K-12 students. The parade route brings students around the Sully town square where a short pep rally will be held. That night, a freewill donation chili and chili dog supper hosted by the Lynnville-Sully Community Education Foundation will be held in the middle school gym from 5-7 p.m. Friday will culminate with the undefeated and ranked Hawks’ football team taking on Colfax-Mingo. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
