The artistic talents and academic accomplishments of Lynnville-Sully students will be on display at the annual L-S Art Show and Academic Fair on Thursday, Mar. 23.
The high school gym will be transformed into an art gallery with featured pieces from each K-11 artist on display. A special senior salute will be in the high school art gallery, located just off the gym, and will highlight the works of art created by senior students over their school art career. Guests are invited to browse through the aisles of artwork from 3:30-8 p.m. Senior citizens are welcome to take a look from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The academic achievements of elementary students will be on display in the elementary area. Guests are invited to take a look at the showcased talents of the students from 4-6 p.m. The Scholastic Book Fair will be open in the elementary library.
Also at the L-S Art Show and Academic Fair, the L-S Music and Drama Boosters will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a twin-size afghan crocheted by Pat Taylor. Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20.
Take a night off from the kitchen and take advantage of the L-S After-Prom Committee serving a freewill donation meal from 5-7 p.m. in the middle school gym. All proceeds will go toward the after-prom party. The menu includes beefburgers, hot dogs, salad, chips, baked beans, desserts, and drinks.
