Easter bunny visits area Saturday

The Easter bunny who usually visits the Lynnville Heart of Worship church’s egg hunt each year has promised to show up and will be driven around in a vehicle in Lynnville and Sully this year due to COVID-19.

The Easter bunny will be driven around the streets of Lynnville at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 11.

The Easter bunny will be driven around the streets of Sully at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 11.

In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled, possibly to Apr. 18.

Rural residents or those from other towns are welcome to park in town but please do not gather outside your vehicle or anywhere outside your yard or make a parade of his appearance. Please exercise six-foot social distancing in your neighborhood or yard.

Thank you in advance to the Easter bunny and its chauffeurs for adding lots of smiles for area kids unable to attend the annual egg hunt at Old Settlers Park in Lynnville until tentatively in June this year.
