An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at Diamond Trail Feed in Lynnville on Friday, Jan. 13. Members of the Lynnville Community Pride Group welcomed the business to the community. Byron and Cindy Eekhoff of Pella took over Renaud Feed Center Inc. Oct. 1, 2022, and have operated Diamond Trail Feed as a division of H&S Feed and Country Store in Oskaloosa, which was purchased by the Eekhoffs in 2004.

Over the past few months, there has been extensive cleaning, and older equipment has been removed from the Lynnville business and replaced with new and upgraded equipment to best serve its customer base.

The public was welcomed to a grand opening and open house on Friday, Nov. 18, as a chance for the new owners and management to introduce themselves to the community.
