Daylight saving time this Sunday

It’s that time of year again when we need to “spring forward” one hour for daylight saving time on Sunday, Mar. 13. As winter fades away, we can look forward to lighter evenings since we will lose an hour of daylight in the morning but gain it back in the evening as part of the change. This year, daylight saving time will kick in the second Sunday of March at 2 a.m. on Mar. 13, almost as late as it can start. Daylight saving time won’t start this late again until 2021, when we spring forward on Mar. 14.
