Area churches invite everyone to attend the following Easter celebration services.
St. Andrews Lutheran Church Maundy Thursday Worship on Mar. 24 with Holy Communion at 5:30 p.m.; Good Friday Worship Mar. 25 at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Newton; breakfast Easter morning from 7:45-8:45 a.m. followed by 9 a.m. service.
Sully First Reformed Church Maundy Thursday Service is at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 24, with communion. Easter Sunday Breakfast will be at 8-9:15 a.m. on Mar. 27 in The Gathering Place followed by 9:30 a.m. Easter Worship and celebration coffee time served after the service.
Sully Christian Reformed Church Good Friday Service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Mar. 25, and Easter Sunday Worship at 9:30 a.m.
Lynnville Friends Church will have an Easter Sunrise Service on Mar. 27 at 7:30 a.m. Following the service, the youth going on a mission trip will serve breakfast. All proceeds will go towards the Jamaica mission trip.
Lynnville Heart of Worship will have an Easter Breakfast at 9 a.m. with Easter Worship following at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Mar. 27.
Searsboro Community Church is hosting an Easter Breakfast on Sunday, Mar. 27, at 9 a.m. followed by church services at 10:30 a.m., handicap accessible.
Sully Community Church Easter Sunrise Service will be Mar. 27. Plan to arrive around 6:30 a.m. so worship can begin at 6:45 a.m. (take lawn chairs/blankets). Following the service, gather in the fellowship hall for breakfast. Sunday School at 9:30 and church services at 10:30 a.m. will be held.
Taintor Community Church will have an Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. on Sunday, Mar. 27, and no regular worship service.
Easter Eggstravaganza
The annual Community Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by Lynnville Heart of Worship, will be held Saturday, Mar. 26, at 1 p.m. at Old Settlers in Lynnville, rain or shine.
All children ages 10 and under are invited to hunt for over 10,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes. Have a camera ready as the Easter bunny and a life-sized Easter egg will make an appearance and be available for photo opportunities with the children. Join the fun!
