Monday, June 27, from 2-5 p.m., Key Cooperative in partnership with the City of Sully will host the WHO Great Tractor Ride. Celebrating its 20th year, the complete event takes place June 27-29 and will be based out of Grinnell – where it all started 20 years ago. Drivers will be hosted downtown to feature the newly renovated park and Jasper County Freedom Rock. The City of Sully has approved the use of streets around the square to park the tractors – specifically the lane closest to the park. This street space will be closed and unavailable for parking 8 a.m.-5 p.m. June 27. Groups of 40-50 tractors will make a stop at a time. Each group will stay for approximately 20 minutes, then depart for the next community stop. To keep with the agriculture theme, the Lynnville-Sully FFA has been invited to sell afternoon snacks and treats as a fundraiser.
