The City of Sully RISE Grant Paving Project for 1st Avenue and West 2nd Avenue on the west side of Sully is the same as complete with the paving poured on June 23 (in progress in photo above), according to Sully City Engineer Brad Uitermarkt of Garden and Associates of Oskaloosa. Uitermarkt said only a small amount of surface restoration work was left at that time and weather permitting, it could be done this week. The project started Apr. 1. Construction will still be ongoing at the south end of 1st Avenue since the property owners have worked out an agreement to pay for paving 600 more feet on south from the 5th Street intersection where the RISE Project ended.
