Andy and Karlie Van Soelen of Davenport are the proud parents of a baby boy, Jasper Jay. He was born Friday, Sept. 23, 2016. He weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and measured 20 inches long. Grandparents are Mike and Marlene Van Soelen of Sully and Paul and Deb Monsma of Pella. Great-grandparents are Peter Van Soelen of Killduff, Robert Monsma of Pella, Arvin and Judy Roose of Peoria, and Karla Wallace of Oskaloosa.
