Abby and Jared Bogaards of Grimes are the parents of a son, Jack Robert, born Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014. He weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and measured 21.75 inches long.
Grandparents are Mike and Kathy Zylstra of Sully and Loren and Cindy Bogaards of Pella. Among great-grandparents are Carolyn and the late Bob Ball of Newton, Mattie and Gerald Bogaards of Pella, and the late Bernie and Lenora Nikkel.
