Elsie Jean was born to Eric and Emily Nieuwsma of Pella on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016. She weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces and measured 21 inches long. Her brother is Eli, who is 18 months old.
Grandparents are Scott and Leann DeJong of Ankeny and Dan and Marla Nieuwsma of Oskaloosa.
Great-grandparents are Marilyn De Jong of Pella, Jeri Jansen of Sully, Louella Nieuwsma of Oskaloosa, and Jonella Van Wyk of Sully.
