Tanner and Annie Vander Weerdt of Grinnell are the parents of a son, Henry James, born Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023. He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and measured 20.5 inches long. His sister is Myla Anne, age 22 months.

Grandparents are Jim and Jane Vander Weerdt of Sully and Steve and Karen Mroz of Melbourne.

Great-grandparents are Norm and Corrine Pete of Rock Island, IL.
