Joseph Justin Johnson, 45, of Iowa City, passed away Jan. 2, 2026. Visitation will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 16, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m., both at Agency Community Church, Agency. Joe was a Lynnville-Sully graduate with the Class of 1999.
Among survivors are his parents Dave and Jodi Johnson of Lynnville, two sisters MindyJo (Todd) Miller of Des Moines and Misti (Jeff) Craig of Des Moines; two nieces; and one nephew.
He was preceded by an infant brother Timothy David Johnson; and grandparents Charles and Dorothy Swanson of Ottumwa and Robert E. and Muriel Johnson of Iowa Falls.
