Myron Huyser, 91

Myron Keith Huyser passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, Dec. 18, 2024, at Paula J. Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge with his wife of 68 years, Nancy, by his side.

Myron loved old tractors, particularly Olivers, and participated in the WHO Tractor Ride for the first 20 years of the event. Myron loved those tractor rides and was joined by his children on several occasions. During the tractor rides, Myron could often be found working on someone else’s tractor to keep them going.

Myron got involved in the Boy Scouts of America through his three sons; eventually serving as Scoutmaster of Troop 96 in Badger for several years. He also served on the board of the Prairie Gold Twin Lakes District Scout Training Staff.

In 2013, Myron had the privilege of attending an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., for Korean veterans.

In retirement, Myron and Nancy enjoyed travelling to Europe, Hawaii, and Alaska as well as numerous bus trips throughout the United States.

Myron was an active member of Badger Lutheran Church in Badger, serving on the church council, teaching Sunday school, leading confirmation classes, and singing in the church choir.
