Martha Lorene (Claypool) DeWitte, 93, was born Dec. 25, 1930, and died Nov. 21, 2024.
A private family celebration of life is being planned at the Harmony Cemetery near Brooklyn on a later date.
She was the fourth of seven children born to Kenneth and Cora (Holderness) Claypool.
She will be deeply missed by her children: Laurie (Torrey) Pulkrabek of Mahomet, IL, Jeff DeWitte of Brooklyn, and Linda (JD) DeHoedt of Lynnville; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1998, her parents, her siblings Merlin “Red” (Marie), Walter “Bill,” Evelyn (Danny) Osweiler, Howard “Norma,” Ronnie (Mary), and Ernie (Mable); and special friend Dean Lippincott in 2021.
