Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and kick off summer Saturday, June 4, with Sully Night Out’s first Concert in the Park. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Sully Central Park.
This family-friendly event promises a fun evening of entertainment as guests bounce to the beat of Prairie Jewel Dixieland Band, a seven-piece ensemble with a diverse playlist including “Bugle Call,” “Rag,” and “Hello Dolly,” among other selections. Sully Telephone Association’s general manager, Jack DeAngelo, is a member of the band.
Admission is by freewill donation. Funds collected will be used to complete the masonry work on the park stage. The Sully Hometown Pride Committee will sell T-shirts at the event with all proceeds going towards community projects associated with the Keep Iowa Beautiful campaign.
In case of rain, the concert will be held inside the Sully Community Center.
