Not much going on this week. One of my daughters and her stupid cat are still living with me.
The cat sometimes flies around the house like he has no brain at all.
But I have discovered he likes to watch television. When I turn the TV on and find some channel that has cartoons, he will sit there for hours.
My daughter says the cat’s eyes are getting bad, and he needs glasses.
I have reading glasses that I down-sized and taped to his furry head. He is still farsighted. He can see for a mile, but when he takes off like a rocket, he crashes into things on take-off because he can’t see close up.
He is up every morning while I make coffee. He is a nuisance.
As soon as my coffee is ready, I grab a cup and take off as fast as I can so I can get away from him.
I then head for Dale Schnell’s cabin in the woods.
Sometimes the crowd grows with men like Ron “Pickle” Nikkel and Dick Schnell. The insults that go on cut to the core. I always try to get the last insult in and run to my old Blazer and get on down the road.
I’m still pretty quick on my feet because my daughter chases me around to take pills or to go in and cook something.
It’s quite a life.
