Krista Marie Fopma and Joseph Marc Blom were married at 3:30 p.m. on July 18, 2015, at Sully Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Brian Ochsner officiating. Parents of the couple are Loren and Shawna Fopma of Sully and Mike and LuAnn Blom of Pella.
Raeann Fopma of Sully was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cassandra Swanson of Pella, Ashley Roberts of Tracy, CA, Leah Van Told of Rock Valley, Lynelle De Bruin of Oskaloosa, and Hannah Huisman of Hudsonville, MI.
Flower girls were Aubrey Blom of Morton, IL, and Kaelyn Swanson of Pella.
Best man was James Blom of Demotte, IL. Groomsmen were Josh Blom of Morton, IL, Joshua Fopma of Sully, Keagan Fopma of Sully, Andrew De Boer of Demotte, IL, and Nathan Hendriske of Oostburg, WI. Ushers were Sam De Nooy and Jonathon Holwerda.
Ring bearer was Asher Swanson of Pella.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Lyn Howerzyl, Jeremy Engbers, Kaitlin Feddema, and Evan Geels.
The reception was held at the Spaulding Center Museum of Transportation in Grinnell.
The bride is a 2012 Pella Christian High School graduate and a 2015 Trinity Christian College graduate with a degree in cognitive and speech development. She will finish up her bachelor’s degree in December and then attend graduate school.
The groom is a 2010 Pella Christian High School graduate and a 2014 Trinity College graduate with a degree in accounting. He is employed at Cray Kaiser Ltd., Oak Brook, IL.
Following a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is at home in Chicago Ridge, IL.
