Three Hawks clinch spots at district wrestling tourney

Three Lynnville-Sully wrestlers ensured their season will continue after placing first or second at the Sectional 10 Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 2, at Pleasantville. Hawk girls escape E-B-F, BP

Winter weather once again played havoc on basketball schedules throughout the state last week, including at Lynnville-Sully. The girls basketball team had three days of no school, practices, or games last week, and the Hawks’ rustiness showed when they took on Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Friday night. L-S was still able to get the win, 48-39.

L-S boys suffer two losses as post-season play approaches

The Lynnville-Sully boys basketball team did some things well but came up short to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and Belle Plaine in the past week of action.
