Allison Kaye Hall and Derek Joel Van Weelden were united in marriage on Aug. 8, 2016, at 4 p.m. at Debbie’s Celebration Barn, Oskaloosa.
The bride is the daughter of Les and Gretchen Hall of Grinnell. A Grinnell-Newberg High School Class of 2008 graduate, she attended the Iowa School of Beauty Cosmetology School and has been a hairstylist and salon owner at Shear Delight in Grinnell since 2009.
The groom is the son of Dwight and Jerilyn Van Weelden of rural Sully. A Pella Christian High School Class of 2007 graduate, he attended Iowa State University and has worked at Lowry’s Seed Sales since 2011.
The officiating clergy was Phil Culham, and a reception was held at the Celebration Barn after the ceremony.
Following the wedding, the couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and is now at home south of Grinnell.
