Jennie Van Zante, 95, of Pella, passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at The Cottages in Pella. Jennie G. (Vande Voort) Van Zante, was the wife of the late Earl W. Van Zante and was the mother of five children: Carol (Leonard) Roovaart of Bondurant, Charles (Sandi) Van Zante, Howard (Sheryl) Van Zante, Jayne (Douglas) Nunnikhoven, all of Pella, and June (Verlan) Van Wyk of Sully; grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; and sister to Henry J. Vande Voort of Pella.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 13, at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Christian Reformed Church, Pella. Interment will be made in the Porter Grove Cemetery near Pella. Visitation will begin Thursday, Oct. 12, after 4 p.m. at Faith Christian Reformed Church with the family present from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested for the Porter Grove Cemetery near Pella.
