Cayla Lynn Collins and Mason Jeremy Wichhart exchanged marriage vows at Second Christian Reformed Church in Pella at 4:30 p.m. on May 28, 2016. Pastor Wayne Sneller officiated.
Parents of the couple are Duane and Joni Collins of Lynnville and Jeff and Rhonda Wichhart of Pella.
Matron of honor was the groom’s sister Mallory Hartgers, and maid of honor was the bride’s sister Cheyanne Collins. Bridesmaids were Kayla Carr, Emily Stursma, and Kelsie Van Haaften. Flower girls were Addison Van Haaften, cousin of the groom Lexi Van Houweling, and cousins of the bride Audrey Brand and Sophia Bell.
Best man was Joey Schutte. Groomsmen were Curtis Rozenboom, Cole Warner, and groom’s brothers Mike and Max Wichhart. Ring bearer was the bride’s cousin Jacob Bell.
Ushers were the bride’s brother Coltin Collins and Zach Zylstra.
A reception was held at the Maytag Student Center at Central College in Pella.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Pella Christian High School and a 2014 graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in child, adult, and family services. She is a program supervisor for Lutheran Services of Iowa.
The groom is a 2011 graduate of Pella Christian High School and attended DMACC. He has been employed since 2014 in the family business, Vander Ploeg Bakery in Pella.
Following a wedding trip to St. Petersburg, FL, the couple is at home in Pella.
