Mark your calendars: Lynnville Days June 18-19

The Lynnville Chamber of Commerce is busy preparing for a new venue and new theme for this year’s Lynnville Days. Saturday, June 18, the day will kick off with a Bill Riley Talent Show at Old Setts at 1 p.m. Anyone interested in participating should contact DaNaye VanDe Krol.

The big event starts at 4 p.m. at the Lynnville Ballpark. Eight community teams will be participating in a Kickball Tournament with the championship game played at 8 p.m. Interested in forming a team for kickball? Contact Shane Ehresman at 319-461-6325.

The Diamond Trail Children’s Center will host a bounce house and carnival games just as they have in the past, but will be located at the playground area of the ballpark instead.

Food will be available from 4-9 p.m. with all proceeds benefitting the final improvements of the three-year ballpark plan.

On Sunday, a community-wide church service will be held at Old Settlers Park.

Plan now to support your community locally and have some fun in Lynnville on Saturday and Sunday, June 18-19!
