Sarah Beatrice Rankin and William Wendell Folkerts are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Parents of the couple are Kathy Rankin and the late Jeff Rankin of Reasnor and Todde and Michelle Folkerts of Chariton.
Sarah is a 2009 graduate of Lynnville-Sully High School and a 2013 graduate of Central College with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She is employed at Kids Life in Chariton.
Will is a 2010 graduate of Chariton High School and a 2014 graduate of Central College with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and he has an endorsement in secondary education. He will be employed as a sixth-grade teacher in Chariton.
The couple is planning an Aug. 2 wedding at Third Reformed Church in Pella.
