Justin and Christa Vander Leest of Ankeny are the parents of a daughter, Rylee Jo, born Sept. 1, 2017. She weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and measured 19 inches long. She has a sister, Maci, age 3 1/2; and a brother, Jace, age 2.
Grandparents are Mary and Warren Vander Leest of Sully and Rick and Marlis Backus of Newton.
