Todd and Jennifer Johnson of rural Newton are the proud parents of a son, Kaid Grant. Kaid was born at 7:38 a.m on Friday, Aug. 23, 2019. He weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces and was 20 inches long. Kaid is welcomed home by big sisters, Hattie, age 5, and Quinn, age 3.
Grandparents are Donnie and Terri Morris of Sully and Gordy and Marcene Johnson of Newton.
Great-grandparents are Don and Karen Jansen of Grinnell.
